Join our Christmas shop window competition

27 shops in Market Harborough have joined the Welland Valley Rotary Christmas Shop Competition for local school children, in the fortnight leading up to Harborough Christmas Fayre on 5th of December. The aim of the competition is to spot the odd thing out in each of the participating shop windows. There will be prizes for the first three correct entries drawn out at the Christmas Fayre plus a prize for the primary school with the most entries. After amazing reports on the Warning Zone from other Rotary clubs we decided we must see what all the fuss was about. We were not disappointed! Last week we lost one of the founding members of the Welland Valley Rotary Club; Joe Welch. In addition to his role as Junior Vice President, Joe dedicated a great deal of time and effort to organising the clubs social activities. Welland Valley Rotary Charter Evening

The Welland Valley Rotary Club had its inaugural Charter Night on Saturday (April 27). 16 founder members of the new club were joined by the Rotary’s district governor and representatives of 11 other clubs to be formally recognized as a new club at the Three Swans.
